Selling my 2021 Gibson SG Standard ’61.
It’s just a case of ‘too many guitars.’ You know the deal.
Pretty flawless. One small paint mark you can see in the third-to-last photo and some light, not-in-the-paint, need-to-hold-it-up-in-the-light-to-see-them marks on the back of the guitar. Other than that, fairly darn close to perfect.
As you probably know, this is the more expensive SG Standard that features several ’61-specific touches, and upgraded parts and electronics, compared to the normal Standard. These include: 22 medium jumbo frets, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic Bridge with Stopbar, Burstbucker 61R and 61T Humbuckers, and Vintage Deluxe tuners. It’s a better sounding guitar to me, smoother and more articulate than the Standard. That’s just an opinion.
Comes with the Gibson OSHC and all the paperwork and case candy (as pictured). Deep savings on this one, for someone who wants a fairly close to perfect ’61 SG Standard without the $2k price tag.
Happy to answer any questions on this one and thanks for checking it out!
(Final note: this is being sold on other platforms, so it could disappear at any time…)
