This guitar was refinished in 1978. The original cherry was painted over with black. Stripped and refinished with Tung Oil. All original electronics except for the pickup selection switch. I have the original to go with it. Pickup covers were changed to the cream when refinished in 78. The original bridge was replaced with a Bigsby and replaced again with a Badass Bridge during the refinish. I recently replaced the tuners and had a bone nut made for it. Fretboard binding removed during refinished. Fret markers on the side of the neck replaced with mother of pearl. Plays and sounds amazing. Definitely not true vintage look but a true vintage feel.
