Testing the Waters on my Gibson RD Artist.
For sale is my players grade 1981 Gibson RD Artist. This thing is such a cool guitar, I’ve always wanted one growing up. I’ve only had it for a few days from what I believe was the original owner, and I’ve been considering throwing in new pickups in it. The only thing is that it’s completely bone stock. I would feel very guilty doing it to that when someone might want to have that opportunity more than me. I’m putting this up just to test the waters for a while, if it doesn’t get any bites, I’ll probably just do the swap. It plays great, it obviously has wear, but nothing that is structurally wrong or feels bad. All electronics work as far as I understand. Bright switch, comp (neck) expander (bridge), bass and treble knobs.
NO, it is NOT a headstock crack. It looks like it is, but they are just some scratches on the neck. I measured it out at 9.4 lbs on my scale. I’m asking $2800 obo. Free shipping as well. Message me with any questions. Thank you!
