Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro, or plus whatever they call the one with coil taps now days. This was a promo guitar for Monster Energy. I bought it planning to pull the wrap off. It’s black underneath the wrap. The wrap is still in Excellent condition. This guitar has sat in the case it’s intire life. Previous owner who collects Monster Energy items said it has never been played. I believe him as that looks to be the case. Once I unlocked the tuners I could tell the strings were most likely original as they let me know they hadn’t moved in a long time. Low E dialed in, A string snapped after a half quarter turn so the strings were old. This guitar is in like new excellent condition other than I small nick at the top of the headstock. I called Gibson and you can do the same and confirm that it was built by the custom shop. That is what Gibson told me. There is no COA from the custom shop. Only the original checklist. All case candy is there as it should be and it comes with the original case. Before I pulled the wrap off I just figured I’d see if anyone had to have it. I’d hate to have pulled it off and made a big mistake. The price is $2900.00 obo. Again you can research the serial number as I did. If you pull it online it only says built at the Nashville plant and it’s a 2011 model. I asked on the Gibson forums what others thought about pulling the wrap off. Most said do it, others said I was crazy. If you have more information than I have about it fell free to message me and share it with me. If it doesn’t get much interest I will be pulling the wrap off before I replace the strings. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking.
