Gibson Les Paul Standard ’50s 2023

$ 1853.74

The new lineup, “Original Collection,” announced at NAMM SHOW 2019, includes the popular model “Les Paul Standard ’50s,” which has now arrived. This particular guitar is a 2023 model.

The “Les Paul Standard ’50s” features the classic 50’s look with a maple top and mahogany back. It has a solid body with no weight relief and a Vintage 50s neck shape that provides a comfortable grip.

The cavity is wired without a circuit board, similar to the traditional models, and uses Orange Drop capacitors. The pickups, Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2, are key to its sound. They deliver a robust clean tone and a balanced drive sound, even when distorted.

Despite the lack of weight relief, this guitar weighs around 4kg, which is typical for a Les Paul. Its appearance exudes the quintessential Les Paul vibe, and the color is strikingly cool. It’s truly the Les Paul among Les Pauls.

This is a highly recommended guitar for guitarists seeking the iconic Gibson rock sound. Note: The pegs have been replaced with gold Grover pegs, and the cover of the bridge pickup has been removed.

Condition: Professionally cleaned and set up with new strings (D’Addario).

No problem with the electric systems. Neck is straight and the truss rod works with no issues. Remaining fret height is over 60 percent.

Although it has minor scratches and dings, the overall appearance is relatively clean.

Comes with a hard shell case.
