Gibson Les Paul Standard 2008 Silverburst limited edition

$ 3150.00

Here is a super-clean 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Silverburst finish. Made in USA.
It was part of a limited production run back in 2008-exclusively for guitar center. I believe they made 150 units.
This guitar is super clean and near new condition.
It is 100% original except for the addition of Grover tuners-(the original kluson style tuners are included)
No new screw holes were added-just the Grover press-in grommets/bushings.
There are no breaks, cracks or repairs anywhere.
The body is super clean and the finish is brilliant and glossy. This model never had a pickguard.
The body is mahogany and it is fully-chambered so it is nice and lightweight. The top is a maple cap. The sides and back are black and very clean and glossy. There may be some evidence of handling wear somewhere but I can not find any-it’s that clean-see photos.
The neck joint is solid and the neck angle is excellent.
The neck is mahogany with a D profile and a 1960’s slim contour. The nut is the desirable pre-1964 style 1 11/16” width. The neck is super straight and has a very smooth feel. The new Grover tuners have the classic Gibson tulip shaped tuning keys and the screw mounts line up with the original tuners so you could switch back to the originals without any extra holes evident. The headstock and logo both display excellent. The string height is low for an easy and fast action and the guitar plays like butter with little effort. The bridge is fully adjustable so you can raise the action if you prefer. The fretboard is Ebony-just like a Les Paul custom would have but the position markers are the trapezoid pearl units typically used on all standard model Les Pauls. The scale is the standard Les Paul 24.75” and the radius is 12.00″
The original medium jumbo frets appear like new condition-tall and clean with zero wear-see photos.
The guitar plays excellent with no dead spots. The original pickups are burstbucker pro rythym and lead PAF units-and they sound amazing. All of the controls function smoothly and quietly. The bridge and tailpiece are both super clean. This guitar comes with a Gibson Gold hard-shell case for safe keeping.
As mentioned before it is lightweight (8.56 lbs) and feels great in your lap or in a strap-no shoulder fatigue with this one!
It’s a great looking silverburst and sounds and plays just as good as it looks. This is a rare guitar already…
