Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst 1995
Manufactured in 1995 according to the serial number, this plain top LP Standard features the classic specifications of a maple top and mahogany body, mahogany 50s rounded profile neck, and rosewood fingerboard. Plain back humbuckers provide the output, a Nashville style bridge insures spot-on intontation and the original pots date to 1994. Mercifully, the weight is managable at around 4.45kg or 9.81lbs.
The Gibson standard lineup of the 1990s has come to be highly regarded as they were well made and 30 odd years of aging has only improved the quality of the tone woods in their construction. This example has an attractive heritage cherry sunburst that has aged rather nicely over time and is complimented beautifully by the dark rosewood fretboard. The instrument is in relatively good condition overall and robust enough to still be used hard in a live situation.
All hardware and electronics appear to be original and are functioning as they should, with a straight neck and adjustable truss rod. One of the strap pin holes was stripped when the guitar came to us but is now repaired, although some minor cosmetic damage remains as can be seen in the photos. Further, there are minor scratches, dents or other imperfections in places throughout but the guitar presents very well overall.
We have given the guitar a thorough clean and polish and have set it up for effortless playability.
Comes with the original hard case and lock instructions (in Japanese).

We always try to accurately convey the condition of our products, however please bear in mind that feel, performance and even condition are subjective. In light of this, please examine the photos carefully!
