Gibson Les Paul Standard 1979, Kalamazoo Built, VG-Excellent No Breaks, Cracks, Repairs, A+, Trades

$ 4219.00

Almost listed this as excellent condition, as my scale says that’s what it rates. Marked as very good, as there is no doubt of it being very good. I conducted a survey with long-time guitarists when asked their opinion, the majority voted very good to excellent.

This is a Kalamazoo built guitar, which became more rare after Gibson opening up the Nashville plant.

The original T-Top pickups really sing on this old girl. This guitar covers most varieties of music from the last 70 years easily.

Only minor dings and scratches on this one, save one on the top upper bout, where your arm rests while playing it and this doesn’t scream “look at me, I’m noticeable “! The binding is in great shape, without cracks or missing pieces like some.
This is an amazing looking and sounding guitar, which anyone would be proud to own or collect.
Some flame and Birdseye in the top Maple and a Beautiful hunk of one piece Mahogany body.

The fretboard is a beautifully grained, dark piece of Rosewood. The body is one piece of Honduran Mahogany. If the 1990s were the “good wood era”, this came from the outstanding, bodacious, awesome and time-warp era!

The action is nice and low. The frets are low, but are without dings or grooves. The frets have life left in them.

This comes with the original hard shell case, which is in excellent conditions. All hinges work as they should. There is only minor Tolex damage in a very few spots.

Affordable shipping. I don’t charge extra for shipping to pad my finances. This will be packed meticulously, it will be shipped the same day as payment clears if before 1:00PM or the next business day if on a weekend, as I live in the boonies.
Will be packed fast, securely and insured through Reverb, just as I would expect it to be if I had bought it.

Please ask any and all questions before purchase.

I may regret selling this but, need to clear out things, as I am not getting any younger.

Trades for Plexi-type amps; Marshall, Metropoulos, Suhr, etc. considered straight deal or trade plus cash.
