Vintage Gibson Les Paul Gold Top from 1952. Super early with binding on fingerboard but no Serial number. It has a great neck angle for one of these, and a Glasser or similar conversion would make this LP a players delight
The body has weather checking on the front and back, with some buckle rash on the back of the body. There is also some honest playing wear on the sides of the body near the back.
The input jack as been replaced, and it is missing the pick-guard, but it is otherwise all original.
It has had only one owner (who has passed, and the family is selling it), and it is completely as found, with flatwound strings. It has some fret wear, but it’s really not too bad considering its age. Comes with the original brown Lifton brown exterior, pink interior, hardshell case. The Residue should clean off with a light compound and show a much more vibrant Gold, but we wanted to give the next owner a chance to make that decision… Buy it or we will clean it!!!
