Listen. This is a very used 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe converted to Standard with humbuckers. The only thing original on this beast are the capacitors and the truss rod cover and thumb bleeders.
The neck has been re fretted, re bound and refinished along with the fret nibs. The work was done by the Notorious Guitar Hospital in Reno Nevada. It plays like butter.
It’s wired 50s style and sounds great!
The pickups are Friedman pickups from the first run when Grover Jackson was doing the winding and building the Friedman guitars. Boxes of pickups are included.
Newer Grover tuners have replaced the originals long ago.
The pickup routs are crude, but work fine and house the pickups fine. It’s not the pretiest job.
Lots of dings, scrapes, and bangs. It’s a natural relic job from years of playing.
Comes with era correct case. Case has one broken latch. The placard is not glued on anymore and is included.
Comes with older pots that were installed in the guitar when I got it.
Tone pros bridge. Light weight tail piece.
Amber barrel knobs.
Ask any questions and I’ll try to answer the best I can.
