This Les Paul Custom is in excellent condition, 100% original and in perfect working order. The frets are in great shape and show only light wear. This Norlin-era guitar weighs 10lbs 9ozs and features a “sandwich” mahogany body, and a three-piece maple neck capped with a bound ebony fingerboard. The tonewoods ensure plenty of natural punch and sustain, and the T-Top humbuckers produced during the height of the Jimmy Page/Led Zeppelin era were built to rock the house down. But roll back the volume and the pups produce some of the sweetest tones this side of the stairway to heaven. The guitar plays like a dream. The gold plating on the pickups has faded and there are some small dings, scratches and light streaks but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar. No cracks, modifications, or structural issues. Comes with a brand new hard shell case.
I am the second owner of this guitar. I bought it from the bass player in my band around 1985 and it has been lightly/rarely played since. It’s basically been sitting under my bed since the 1990s. I’ve sold more than a dozen guitars with my partner on the Connoisseur of Cool store and have received excellent reviews. Check ‘em out. Since this is my personal instrument I’m selling it here.
