Gibson Les Paul Classic 2005 Goldtop w/ Case

$ 1500.00

She ain’t the prettiest, but she’s got it where it counts – awesome playability, classic tone.

There is weather-checking on the top side. Numerous dents, dings, and scratches are found throughout the body. It’s missing the toggle switch ring, and has no pickguard. The little metal doodad on one of the pots is loose. The strap buttons appear to fit Dunlop strap locks.

The frets are in good shape, with one or two having a few small indentations. It’s nothing I notice when I play it. They could use a polish, but they’re holding up fine for a 17 year-old guitar.

Buckle rash on the backside. The toggle switch cavity plate is missing one screw. What appears to be a break is actually just the wood grain. On close inspection there is no evidence of a break or repair.

The headstock has a repaired crack on the high-E side. I literally didn’t notice it when I bought the guitar (it’s not normally where you’d find one, so I didn’t look.) There is no truss rod cover. The rod itself
has plenty of room to go.

It didn’t come with a case, so I bought a brand-new TKL Gibson branded case. It fits perfectly and is snug.
