Gibson Les Paul 60s Tribute P90 Goldtop + Locking Tuners & Bag 77682 – VIDEO

$ 1499.00

NOTE: See video of this guitar in the photo gallery!
You’re looking at a 2017 Gibson Les Paul 60s Tribute in a goldtop finish. Excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Features:

— Mahogany body & neck, rosewood board
— Legendary 60s SlimTaper neck & p90 pickups
— Upgraded Grover “kidney bean” locking tuners

This is the Tribute that is hard to find with the dual soapbar creme covered P90s. It also has the well-known 60s SlimTaper neck profile. These satin finish Tribute models have a thin nitrocellulose finish that won’t choke your tone. Some other nice details: large neck inlays, and aged plastics with gold knobs.

Cosmetically, it’s super clean. One tiny edge mark. Frets in great condition. Rare model. Comes with original Gibson soft case. Weight is 8 pounds, 3 ounces. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks for looking.

About Me

My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!

Guitar Setup

Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!

Packing

Search “How to Pack a Guitar Hot Girls” on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well–with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google “Still Kickin – How to Pack a Guitar” you will find it. Thanks.

Two P-90 pickups for vintage tone

The P-90 pickup produces a clean, bell-like tone that gets crunchy when you really lean into it. You’ll love the punchy midrange and solid low end that sets P-90s apart from typical single-coil pickups. Many of the Beatles’ biggest hits were recorded using P-90 equipped guitars. But the coolest thing about the P-90 pickup is that once you roll off the highs, you can still get the smoky tones we normally associate with humbuckers.

Gibson opted to omit frivolities such as a bound neck and body. The Les Paul Special ’60s Tribute really is more than the sum of its parts: old-school pickups, premium electrical components, minimalist finishing touches, and worn-in feel all merge to make the Les Paul Special ’60s Tribute a great guitar any Les Paul enthusiast would love.

Plek’d for precision playability This Gibson Les Paul Studio ’60s Tribute 2016 T feels fast and precise, thanks in large part to Plek processing. Typically reserved for top-dollar custom guitars, this process levels the frets with pinpoint precision, providing you with the most playable fretboard you’re likely to own. Each note rings loud and clear, and the fret edges feel smooth as silk.
