This is a great playing, amazing sounding vintage 1953 Gibson ES295 with vibe for days. It has the typical lacquer checking on the original gold finish and an extremely well done output jack repair. That said, it’s a good paint match and it’s totally solid. The original pickguard has a professionally repaired crack by the screw. Original frets are in ok shape, but do show a good amount of play wear. All parts are original minus the switch tip. The bridge pickup has been rewound but sounds fantastic. Includes a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case.
This guitar was featured by Nathaniel Murphy of Chicago Music Exchange for a demo video — shown here in the listing (before the pickguard crack was repaired).
