Up for sale we have a gorgeous 1996 Gibson ES-175D in original Antique Natural finish with original hardshell case. The guitar is in excellent used condition showing minimal play wear, there is some lacquer checking throughout the body, some pick scratching on the pickguard and you can find a handful of small pin-head sized dings here and there around the body if you’re up close and looking for them but overall this is a clean and tidy example overall that has been well taken care of. This ES-175 features a 24 3/4″ scale length, fully hollow 3 1/2″ deep body constructed of beautlfully figured/flamed Maple (top, back and sides) with cream binding, F-holes, black 5-ply pickguard (b/w/b/w/b), equipped with it’s original pair of Gibson Humbucking pickups each with dedicated volume and tone controls, 3-way pickup selector switch, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with Rosewood base and Nickel Trapeze tailpiece. The medium sized Mahogany neck features a comfortable round C-shape profile measuring .860″ deep at the first fret and 1.00″ deep at the ninth fret. The 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard features pearl inlaid split parallelogram fret markers, 12″ radius and white binding. The headstock features Kluson Deluxe tuning machines and a pearl inlaid Gibson and Crown logo. Width at the nut measures a full 1 11/16″. The original medium jumbo frets are present and show minimal play wear and have tons of life left. The neck is nice and straight with low action and set-up with proper relief.
