Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1959 ES-355 Light Aged MOD Watermelon Red [SN A92614] [01/02]

The ES-355 features a “Watermelon Red” (watermelon) finish that reproduces the look of cherry red that has faded over time.
This model has been aged to the highest degree by Murphy Lab’s skilled craftsmen. Semi-hollowbody 3-ply maple body, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. The pickups are reissued PAF pickups that have become legendary, and are equipped with Custom Backer Alnico III. Split diamond headstock inlays, multi-ply binding, and gold hardware replicate the highly regarded 1959 ES-355.
Both the sound and looks of this vintage-inspired piece are full of attention to detail.

The stop tailpiece has been replaced with a Bigsby, and the holes remain intact. (Original bridge is included).
