Lovies Guitars is excited to offer up this 2014 Gibson Custom L-5 CES Master Model Archtop Hollowbody Guitar with a Vintage Sunburst Finish! One of Gibson’s classiest full-body electric guitars, the L-5 CES (Cutaway Electric Spanish) was a company mainstay for many years, and a particular favorite of many jazz and classic R&B players. The back is laminated maple but the top is still carved spruce, while the neck is a 5-piece maple laminate with a pearl block inlaid ebony fingerboard. This is a truly amazing guitar to play and hear, with the warm, rich, yet lively sound characteristic of these fully carved-top Gibson electrics! This guitar is in excellent shape with a tiny touch-up on the back body, light hardware fade and a couple minor indents and marks, rated at 9/10. All original and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs. Included with this guitar is an original hard-shell case, a complimentary sample of Fret-Not, our preferred fretboard cleaner, check it out at fretnot.net and a complimentary Cooper Standard Fin guitar pick—our favorite for enhanced control and reduced movement!
