2010 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro Ebony Black

$ 1699.00

Killer Guitar!!!! Probably Best sounding guitar I have. Plays like butter and just sings. I have owned this guitar for about 13 years or so. Has not been gigged just played occasionally by myself. Very little wear. There are some marks here and there I tried to show in the photos. Nothing major. Gloss top still looks great and shines. I love the look of this model with the black and cream accents, gloss top, and satin back and neck. Pickups split with the tone knobs as well. When these came out they were called “Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro” I believe soon after they changed over to just “Traditional Pro’ Comes with original case in great condition as I hardly ever used it.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body with a carved maple top in Ebony. Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Single-ply cream binding, raised pickguard, pickup rings, and switch plate. Gold top hat knobs.

Neck: Slim ‘60s C shape mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. Chrome locking Grover tuning machines.

Electronics: ’57 Classic humbucker in the neck and BurstBucker 3 in the bridge. 2 x push/pull coil-split volume controls, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: about 9 lbs 10oz on my scale

Playability/Sound: The slim ‘60s neck is one of the easiest profiles to move around and plays equally well with chords as it does with leads. The pickups are rich and full as they should be, but with the addition of the coil-splitting controls, provide a healthy dose of solid single-coil tones as well.
