This Gibson ES-335 comes in a beautifully executed vintage sunburst with a remarkably good fade, done over a figured maple top and back. The guitar has been kept in excellent condition considering it is almost 20 years old. The finish is still glossy with only fine surface scratches. The pickguard shows scratches from play, and the back shows some very light impressions that cannot be captured in photos and can only be seen in tangential lighting.
The playability is superb with very little fret wear, and nice low action with no buzzing. The neck has a very slight D shape. I have not pulled the pickups to check, but they should be 57 Classics. They certainly have that 57 Classic tone, giving this guitar nice warmth and clarity while still having enough bite for a great overdriven tone.
