1984 Gibson Explorer for sale. This guitar is fully functional and sounds amazing. The original finish was removed by the previous owner because it had been given a stripe paint job ala EVH from the original owner.
This guitar is completely original otherwise. Original Dirty Fingers pickups sound awesome. This has the flatter fret wire Gibson was known for in the 70s/80s. They show wear, but they still have plenty of life left in them.
It was my intention to refinish it in Alpine White which was the original color, but I have too many projects and not enough time. There are no breaks and the original finish was removed with care. The original serial number shows perfectly.
No case included.
