Mint, collector grade 1979 Les Paul Standard with a natural one-piece flamed maple top. One-piece tops are insanely unheard of coming from Gibson – one from this era in this condition is once in a lifetime. I was lucky enough to speak with one of the builders at the custom shop when this guitar was made and it was likely made for a higher-up at Gibson. All original, no buckle rash, no visible signs of play wear.
It’s everything you’d expect from a vintage guitar – everything is original including the TP6 bridge, pickups, and tuners. Comes with the original chainsaw case.
I will include the COA from the Gibson employee. Please feel free to ask any questions.
Guitar setups are routinely done and setups are always by taste. I am a collector and all guitars are stored in a climate-controlled, humidity-controlled space with no sunlight and strings loosened, in their respective cases. I do not own a storefront – therefore these guitars are not routinely played, preventing damage and scratches.
All sales are final so ask anything you need to know up front, please!
