1976 Gibson Firebird ’76 Bicentennial

$ 4699.00

Freedom of ’76 vibes

1976 Gibson Firebird with all the ’70’s Americana you want.

Dressed in the beautiful sunburst finish and gold hardware with the natural wear in all the right places, making this bird one comfortable “go-to” guitar in your rig.

Mini-humbuckers, banjo tuners, 3-piece body – everything you know and love about the firebird is here and original! Speaking about originality, everything is original except for the pickguard. Comes with the original hardshell case as well.

Condition:
I marked this as Very Good. It just went through a recent inspection and set-up and passed with flying colors – plays excellent! Frets are alive and well. The gold hardware is tarnished (see pics). The “Gibson” logo on the truss rod cover is faded (see pics). Buckle rash on the back (see pics). There is vintage wear all over, i.e. scrapes on the edge and “bumps/bruises” all over. I tried my best to capture this in the pictures. Please see the tail end of pictures for all the cosmetic wear. If you would want any more detailed pictures, please let me know. All in all, nothing major, all normal vintage wear that does NOT effect the playability.

Before I purchased this guitar, I questioned the serial number on the back, as it was not the same as the other ’76 Firebirds. I emailed Gibson with detailed pictures to “authenticate” it and they came back and said it is indeed a genuine 1976 Gibson Firebird. I can provide that email if requested.

Finally, this guitar is sold “as-described”. I am not a store and do not accept any returns. I am 110% honest when selling and describing the instrument to avoid any messes and disappointments once the instrument is purchased. Once sold and before shipment, I make sure everything is in working condition before shipping the instrument out to you.
