A fine example of John English’s incredible craftsmanship, this Cherry Sunburst 1994 Strat was made in the Fender custom shop in the early years of the master builder series. This particular example was a full custom order, and has remained in almost perfect condition in the 28 years since it was built.
This guitar has been recently set up with 10’s and plays beautifully up and down the neck, oozes that strat twang, and has incredible chime when played through an amplifier.
Although the guitar does not include the original COA, I Have verified the authenticity with fender directly.
This example has been well loved, And taken care of with the utmost respect, but does show its age with a few blemishes (none go through the finish) and a single touch up no larger than 1/8″ on the treble side horn, I have included a picture of the touch up, although it is expertly done and almost unnoticeable. The frets are a medium jumbo with minimal play wear in the first position. The tuners are original locking tuners of the era. I suspect the pickguard has been replaced at some point in this guitars life, evident by the pearloid back plate. I do believe the white is a more current and sleeker look for this guitar.
