Loaded Body Only – Read Description
I purchased the body only from The STRATosphere somewhere around January 2022. I had bolted this body to a genuine Stratocaster neck but used the guitar for display only. Then around January 2023 I purchased a Fender Stratocaster HSS Ebony Fingerboard Limited-Edition Electric Guitar Black from Musician’s Friend and immediately put the loaded pickguard from that guitar in this body ‘for storage’ and removed the neck. It has been sitting in a gig bag in the closet of my smoke free home ever since.
The plastic is still on the pickguard. I have attached a picture of the back of the pickguard and the factory bar code for confirmation. Essentially, both the body and the pickups, etc are unplayed and brand new. I just tested it and the pickups, volume, tone, etc work. To be clear, the body and the pickups are from Mexican-made guitars.
