1973 Fender Stratocaster Natural Ash Body
2 Super rare original Black Bottom staggered pickups!
All original except for pick guard and bridge pickup. Overspray on the neck (not on front of headstock). Slight body rout under the pickguard, see photos.
Weighs in at 8.2 lbs (pretty good for this era)
Bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan SSL-1 Vintage staggered.
Comes with what I think is the original hardshell case. It has no fender logo. It looks to me like a 1963 or 64 no logo Jazzmaster case, but I haven’t done a deep dive on it. It’s certainly vintage as well and they have definitely been married for many years as they share the same road gig scent.
I have lots more pictures of the guitar and case. I also have lots info/internet research about black bottom pickups that I am happy to provide upon request.
Bottom line. This guitar sounds F@$&ing incredible. This is a real vintage player. It’s beat up and beautifully aged. Its the closest thing you will get to a 60’s strat without paying 2-3x the price.
