A nice vibey Strat finished in that classic late ’70s 3 tone sunburst. Just the right look with that naturally aged & worn appearance, letting you know this was someone’s “go to” guitar. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with a warm, true vintage vibe – various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear. The guitar has aged nicely over the years & shows off a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with black dot inlays. Typical small frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees Yamaha tuners are in good working condition. 1 5/8″ nut width; 25 1/2″ scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in 3 tone sunburst finish. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard shows some scratches from picking, but no cracks. Back trem cover is missing. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 10.7 oz.
Pickups: Original single coils with black covers. Bridge – 7.41K ohms; Middle – 5.74K ohms; Neck – 5.76K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with black skirted knobs. The original 5-way selector switch was a bit worn out & stiff so we replaced with a smoother one, but the original is included with the guitar. One pot code can be read & dates to ’80. All electronics are in good working condition.
