Fender MIJ Traditional II ’50s Telecaster – Butterscotch Blonde

$ 900.00

Selling my 2020 Fender Made in Japan Traditional 50’s telecaster in butterscotch blonde with maple fretboard. It is in great condition except for a few very faint surface scratches. There is also one small paint chip on the back of the body near the neck pocket where it meets the neck. It is only a chip in the poly paint, not the wood. This was self-inflicted when I was being careless while removing the neck. Otherwise, the guitar is in excellent condition.

Recently set up professionally with 11’s. The action is low, neck is straight and fast, and the intonation is dialed in. The truss rod works great.

This guitar has been tastefully modded, most of which can easily be swapped back out.

  • Pickups: Lollar Special T (neck) & Lollar Vintage T (bridge).
  • Oak Grigsby 4-way switch.
  • Callaham full access control plate (moves the volume knob 3/8″ away from the switch for complete access to the switch).
  • Electrosocket jack plate.
  • Gotoh compensated brass saddles.
  • Brand new Fender Deluxe molded case.
  • Includes the original saddles, 3-way switch, control plate, and a set of Fender Pure Vintage 52 pickups installed by the previous owner.
  • The only non-reversible mod: I lightly sanded the gloss finish on the back of the neck to a smooth matte/satin finish. It is much more comfortable and playable this way in my opinion. The gloss on the front of the headstock and fretboard remains. It was done with the utmost care and looks like it came that way from the factory.

9.5″ radius, 50s U-shape neck, vintage size frets. All other specs are listed in the screenshot.
