Michiya Haruhata was the first Japanese to sign an endorsement contract with Fender in 2002.
The third in the series, the Michiya Haruhata Stratocaster III, was released in 2011 in a limited edition of about 50 pieces at the Custom Shop.
The Caribbean Blue color, which sold out in the blink of an eye at the time, is now ready to make its debut in the Made in Japan lineup.
Like the Ash Blonde and BWL collaborations, the reverse head is a trademark, and this instrument features a beautiful quilted maple top on an ash body.
The neck shape is also a 3D profiling of the actual instrument.
The pickups are a combination of DiMaggio Air Norton, Fred, and Fender Texas Special, and the unique wiring of master volume/middle pickup volume/master tone follows the original.
The tone knob is a push-push switch that allows the front pickup to be turned on regardless of the selector position, contributing to versatile sound creation.
This contributes to a wide variety of sound making.
The high quality of the Japanese-made Fender has been reborn under the technical guidance and supervision of Chris Fleming, who was a senior master builder at the Custom Shop.
This project was born out of Haruhata’s desire to develop products in an affordable price range. The news that the prototype was used in the main production of a national tour is also a hot topic.
