Fender Japan 62′ Stratocaster Reissue Candy Apple Red JV Serial Number 1983′

After the acquisition of CBS in 1965, the quality was not good, and in the late 1970s, Fender suffered a severe blow to its sales.
Thereafter, under Dan Smith’s management, Fender produced high-quality models in the United States and Japan in 1982.

Models with JV serial numbers released at the Fujigen plant in Japan were produced in 1982-1984, and Fullertone models were produced in the United States.
Most of the Japanese JV series models were made for export under the Squier brand, and the Fender brand was mainly sold at a high price in the Japanese domestic market.
At that time, the models that targeted the Japanese domestic market used high-quality American pickups and parts, and it can be seen that they used the same parts as the American fullerton.

As original parts, there are dents, presses and scratches on the body.
Tweed hard case and tremolo arm are included.
