‘Tele Jr.’ was produced in a limited edition of 100 units by Fender Custom Shop in the early 1990s! Used rare models are now in stock!
This is the ‘Telecaster Jr.’, which was included in the ‘Set Neck/Contemporary Series’, a limited edition model that is considered unique among Fender. This model was nicknamed ‘Tele Jr.’ when it was first released. As the name ‘Jr.’ suggests, it uses specifications that are a cross between Fender and G Company, and has a set-in structure with a mahogany body and neck. This is a special model with a P-90 style pickup and a small pickguard used in Cabronita etc., both in appearance and material. The thick and sweet single coil sound character is full of charm that is different from the classic Telecaster, and the 11-hole chambered body structure allows you to enjoy beautiful voicings that promote an airy and plump live sound. .
This individual is in player’s condition with dents and scratches here and there on both the body and neck. Of course, there are no problems with the electrical system or the playing surface, and there are no dents in the frets, and about 60% of the frets remain, so you can use this guitar a lot. The included case is a Fender molded hard case. Telecasters equipped with P-90 style pickups have been released under various brands in recent years, but this is an ambitious work with quite a few tweaks to the specs, such as the set neck structure and the use of mahogany! Don’t miss out!
