Here for sale is one of the legendary and elusive Fender Custom Shop Brazilian Project guitars, which were originally made to be the closest thing to a pre-CBS Strat available. (Made by the US Fender Custom Shop for the European market.) However, due to a legal issue regarding the Brazilian boards, those necks were ordered destroyed and were re-fitted by the US Fender Custom Shop with AAA grade dark Indian rosewood. This guitar was brought over from Asia and has retained the Brazilian board. I don’t have physical proof of this but was told this by the original owner.

I’ve owned a lot of Custom Shop guitars and this Relic is by far the best Strat I’ve played! The Abigail Ybarra pickups generally bring between $600-$900 by themselves. I don’t really want to sell this Strat, but I need the cash. This may be the only one of these crown jewels to have made it back on this side of the pond.

This guitar has a 2-piece, center joined alder body that was sorted for light weight. It’s in mint condition, as in no extra wear, but please note it is a Relic.

Comes with COA and all case candy. Plays and sounds absolutely amazing! It’s cross-posted, so it may disappear at any time.
