Fender 1998 Custom Shop 12-String Telecaster (Toured by The Tea Party)

$ 3454.63

Own a piece of Canadian music history with this 1998 Fender Custom Shop 12-String Telecaster.  Previously owned and toured by The Tea Party during the Halcyon Days, Interzone Mantras, and Seven Circles tours before they (temporarily) broke up in 2005.  It was purchased, on consignment from Stuart Chatwood, from Capsule Music in Toronto in June 2008.  Photos of Jeff Martin playing the guitar on tour are shown from Germany (June 2000) and at The Dard in Barrie, ON (July 23, 2004)

This guitar is road-worn (as shown in the photos), but the sound and intonation are amazing – likely the most in-tune 12-string you’ll ever own.  This telecaster is fully functional and ready for many more years of history.

Local pickup you can have BOTH the pictured Fender Tolex Hardshell case (it was purchased separately) AND the tour-traveled ECM Engineered Case Manufacturers flight case (warning – that case weighs 29.2 pounds).  For shipped purchases you’ll need to choose ONE case.

Specifications: 2-tone burst on 2-piece ash body with maple neck and Fender Texas Specials pickups.  Weighs in at 8lb6oz.

Shipping is fully insured via Canada Post within Canada or FedEx International Ground to USA.  Listed shipping is based on 20″x8″x50″ box up to 45lbs – I can provide more specific quotes upon request (note: shipping insurance in quotes of this price range are usually about half the total shipping cost)
