FENDER 1974 Stratocaster Olympic White Mod [SN 553057] (06/06)

$ 9280.65

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1974 Stratocaster Olympic White Mod.

This 1974 Stratocaster was made after Fender was acquired by CBS. It has a large head, truss-rod adjustable brett from the head side, 3-point neck plate, and many other features that are different from Fenders from the 1950s to the mid-1960s.

The neck date 0901- is visible but has disappeared, so it is hard to determine, but it is probably a ’74 neck. The pegs are Made in Germany Shallar and the bushings have been replaced. The most distinctive feature is the scalloped Rose fretboard, which was scalloped with a triangular shape, in consideration of Ritchie Blackmore of the Rainbow era.

The pickups are original ’74 gray bobbin with staccato polepiece specs; the switch to flat polepieces was made midway through ’74, so these pickups are from the first half of ’74. All pots are CTS, 137-74~, and all were made in 1974.

The nut frets have been replaced.

The surface of the paint has changed to a candy-colored color, and it has been elevated to a tasteful look that is unique to these days. Paint peeling, exposed wood, etc., all contribute to the best vintage look.

The guitar has been repaired for long use, and many of the original parts remain in player’s condition.

The honest wood characteristics and the crunchy, trebly sound of the gray bobbin will give you the best hard rock sound instantly.

A genuine hard case is included.
