Made in Japan in the early 1990s as part of that Fender Japan “Pro Feel” series that followed the “Contemporary” series. This one is a bit of an anomaly as it has no serial number anywhere to be seen and has a headstock logo and design reminiscent of the “Standard” series. It’s definitely a genuine Fender Japan model but doesn’t seem to be in any of their catalogs, likely a store order or one-off build.
Solid body with a maple neck and a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.7kg’s. Loaded with the Fender EX-TREM locking tremolo system and Gotoh tuners, it appears to be all original as pictured.
Good overall condition as pictured, recently serviced and playing well with a straight neck, adjustable truss and plenty of life in the frets.
