For your consideration a 1961 Fender Musicmaster with all the vibe, patina and playability of a true vintage guitar.
Introduced in 1956 the Musicmaster has the same wood and basic specifications of the Stratocaster but in a “student” friendly 3/4 scale size.
As shown, the photos tell the story of serial number 55269 with a neck date of 1 (Jan) 61 including a rosewood fingerboard, lightweight alder body and in classic Desert Sand finish. The body and neck have the nicks, scuffs, dings and scratches as is to be expected with a guitar of this age… but also some amazing checking of the nitro finish giving it an incredible patina.
It’s one single coil pickup in the neck position is strong, with original white button tuning keys, single ply pickguard, master volume/master tone controls, 3-saddle bridge and “ashtray” bridge cover … that was never used as an ashtray.
Comes with original case as shown. Shipping within lower 48 only, no international sales, all sales final, no returns. Please ask any/all questions before you make an offer. Cheers !
