While it pains me to post this, a once-in-a-lifetime purchase has come up and I need to move some gear around in order to fund that purchase.
I purchased this guitar from another seller on Reverb two years ago and have taken the utmost care of it and it has never been gigged or taken out of my smoke-free home. I’m not trying net a profit and I’m just listing it at the same price that I paid for it back in 2022.
From what the last owner was able to tell me, this guitar was potentially made for an ESP endorsee as the control layout is different than a normal Mirage Custom(1 volume, 1 tone) and does not have a serial number anywhere on the body or the cavities.
Condition wise, the guitar has its fair share of little dings and dents. I’ve done my best to photograph every single one of them, but they are all strictly cosmetic.
The previous owner had the guitar PLEK’d and included the receipt from the work order, which I will include in the case. This was my first guitar that I’ve ever played that had a PLEK job and it definitely feels fantastic and you are able to get the action ridiculously low if you want. I just finished polishing the whole guitar, conditioning the fretboard, and putting a new set of 9-42 strings on it in E standard for the next lucky person who takes this guitar home.
The bridge and neck pickups were replaced when the PLEK service was being done for a Seymour Duncan Parallel Axis Distortion pickup(bridge) and a Dimarzio Super Distortion S(neck) while the supposed original was left alone. While I never got the chance to try the stock bridge and neck pickups, I’m happy to say that these sound phenomenal in just about every application.
Original case is included with the truss rod tool, case key, and original Sinclair tremolo arm.
