1997 ESP “The Mirage” in gorgeous transparent purple. The body is mistakenly referred as Swamp Ash, but it is actually Sen, a Japanese tone wood. This guitar was shipped over from Japan in 2016. I imagine the previous owner was a grizzled road vet, because this Mirage has been seen action over the years. I’ve done my best to highlight the wear and tear, though the color makes it really hard to see.
Rosewood fingerboard has scuffs and wear but has nicely rounded shoulders. Frets are in good shape but are worn down. Nicks, chips, scuffs, scratches everywhere — definitely a player’s guitar. Wilkinson vibrato with noiseless springs. Pickups are a Dimarzio Fortitude, Area 67, and Injector. Comes with Electric Sound Products gig bag from the Japanese market.
