Up for sale, a 1995 ESP Custom Shop Horizon-Custom in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original flight case. ESP’s Japanese Custom Shop is famous for producing unique handmade instruments for their clientele, built to nearly any specification and catering to all idiosyncratic needs. This iteration of the Horizon-Custom platform features an SSH trio of EMG active pickups, a Floyd Rose tremolo, and a sleek Satin Black finish.
This Horizon-Custom features maple neck-through construction with alder body wings and an ebony fingerboard, yielding a resonant acoustic platform with glassy treble detail and note attack, qualities faithfully captured by the SSH trio of active EMG pickups. The SA single coils are sweet and pristine, and the 89 humbucker is warm and powerful while retaining strong fundamental punch and clarity, with a push/pull coil tap at the Volume knob for additional single coil cut. This Horizon-Custom weighs 8lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
