The story of this guitar is best described by the note written by Jonny Zazula in the pics. I acquired this guitar from the person that bought it at Jonny’s auction. I don’t believe this is a production model and it’s likely a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. This spec Surfcaster was famously played by Scott Ian during the Sound of White Noise era. He was pictured with the same model in guitar magazines and I believe he used it on the song “Black Lodge.”
This guitar is in excellent condition. I have owned it for 10 years and I have never played it. I had it signed by Scott Ian during his spoken word tour in 2014.
