Here for sale we have a Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR M electric guitar in Matte Blue Frost finish. Made in Mexico in 2018, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Black hardware including a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking tremolo system with a 1000 Series Tremolo Block and Charvel sealed tuning machines. The locking nut blocks have been replaced with Floyd Rose Gold Nut Clamping Blocks and the saddle mounting screws have been replaced with Blue Floyd Rose stainless steel upgraded M3x8 saddle mounting screws. A pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups are installed, with a Distortion SH-6N in the neck and Distortion TB-6 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume with push/pull coil split function and master tone controls.
The ‘Speed Neck’ feels well balanced and comfortable in the hand and offers a nicely slim and manoeuvrable playing surface across the register. The hand-rubbed Satin finish to the rear of the neck provides an incredibly smooth and ergonomic feel which allows the player to effortlessly glide up and down the fretboard. The 12″-16″ compound radius makes both chordal and lead playing comfortable as the fretboard gets flatter towards the upper register. This ensures comfort for chord playing in the lower register and practicality for string bending as you climb the neck. This is further enhanced by the jumbo frets which improve the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques.
The Seymour Duncan pickups installed in this guitar deliver huge screaming tones that project a deep bass and punchy mids, as well as a searing bright treble to help you cut through the mix. The neck pickup produces a thick, rounded sound tone with plenty of power for your solos and lead lines. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and with a higher output drives the front end of an amp into a beautifully saturated distortion. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive to the playing experience. The addition of the coil split adds the versatility of single-coil style sounds, making this guitar ready for wherever the gig takes you.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The tip demonstrates light indentation and scuffing to the front and rear edges. The bass side edge shows light circular scratch marks consistent with the use of a string winder. These are only visible under direct light at certain angles.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates light staining throughout the entire register. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light indentations in places, not felt under the thumb in playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. A mild scratch which lightly pierces the finish is present to the bottom front edge close to the lower strap button. Light scratching can be identified to the rear in multiple places, most notably the body contour. It is difficult to discern any other markings against the matte finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
