Charvel 88 1988 – One owner from new

The Charvel Model 88 is a limited edition, made-in-Japan super strat. There were 1000 units made, of which 500 were made for the US market. The Charvel Model 88 had one slanted humbucker, the Jackson J-95. It also had a reverse headstock, unlike many other Charvels from the Model series.

I bought this from Project Music (Hounslow) new in late 1988/9

It’s been well played but in great condition, the only thing not original is the Trem Arm (upgraded to screw in) and the original JT6 socket is with the guitar.

The case is not Charvel and has not faired as well over the 35 years as the guitar, but it will keep it safe for shipping.
