From the line of guitars that needs no introduction, for your consideration this stunning early 1986 Charvel Model 3 superstrat, TM logo headstock.
This is a rare limited edition early run that was put out with a painted neck. There were only a handful of Model 2 and Model 3 among the early 1986 batches of Model Series that came out with that feature. Quite a collectible within the Model series.
Hardware and electronics are clean. The Kahler trem is in particularly good condition, all rollers roll. Body is clean, polished and waxed (sorry about the dust specks), fretboard is clean and conditioned, frets are polished and show almost no wear. Superb streaked rosewood fretboard. With the painted neck the guitar just looks stealthy and stunning, hard to believe it is 37 years old. No dents or damage, no neck pocket cracks, occasional surface swirl, a very discreet paint touch up at the back tip of the headstock, couple of tiny scratches on the bottom back body edge and on the arm contour, as per last photo.
The guitar is strung with a fresh set of 9-42 Pyramid (you might have to stretch them a bit still, once you bring them back to tension), action is medium. Depending on your favorite string gauge and action height, local climate, etc, you will have to fine tune the set up to your personal taste.
Original tremolo arm and rare original vintage Charvel vinyl gig bag are included.
