I replaced the Carvin pickups with Two Seymour, Duncan P rails. The two original switches on the bottom of the guitar are not used I installed triple shots which allows you to control everything that you can get from the pre-rails, which is humbucker in series or in parallel or the P90 coil or the strat rail coil. The selector switch on the top still works to go from bridge middle or neck..
The number of tones that you get out of this guitar very nice.
The frets have no wear on them as I have many Guitars and I never play one guitar too much. The guitar has always been kept in its case. My guitar room is always at 35 to 40% humidity..
