This is the last of the three Carvins we recently purchased and I think we’ve saved the best for last. This is one sexy beast and you’ll find the neck to be as fast as greasy lightning. It also contains our favorite electronics design: One volume control, one tone control and three mini-toggle on/off switches to activate each pickup. That, folks is how steak gets done and if it’s a dirty and snarly tone you seek, just run the bridge humbucker by itself and you’ll be quite pleased with the result. The two single coils have a certain “chime” to them that is also very pleasing to the ears.
It looks like the serial number is 63861, so any help dating this bad boy would be very welcome. The Floyd Rose trem works perfectly and the guitar has been detailed and set up with fresh strings. There are a few small dings and light surface scratches, but they do not detract from the simple beauty of an American-made, neck-thru Carvin.
This guitar is an absolute fan fave here at the shop and we’ll pack her up to arrive ready to rock, so please take a look at the pictures, let us know if you have any questions and as always, we thank you for stopping by!
