2000’s BC Rich Kerry King Signature V Tribal.
There are very few specs for these online so I broke it all down and inspected it. This one is not all original.
It is used so there are signs of wear-and-tear but, overall, it’s in pretty good condition.
Mahogany body, original maple bolt-on neck with rosewood fretboard, 24 frets with diamond inlays, one-way adjustable truss rod, upgraded EMG active 81/85 pick-ups with original pots, after-market FR “Licensed” double-locking tremolo and original BC Rich branded tuning keys and hard shell case.
With most BC Rich intermediate-range guitars with bolt-on necks, the neck relief angle usually has to be shimmed to get the best possible action.
I shimmed both the neck and locking nut and the action gets pretty low.
The only issue with this one is the front, lower neck screw is stripped (pictured with my finger pointing to it).
I put new GHS Boomer .009-to-.042 gauge strings, set the truss rod and have the action adjusted for lead guitar. The strings don’t buzz.
It plays and feels good where the action is set now. The neck is comfortable and fast… and with the EMG pick-up, it sounds very good.
If you’re willing to put in the extra effort to upgrade the tremolo and dow and re-drill the neck screw, these guitars are well worth it. These are discontinued.
Reverb doesn’t allow for calculated shipping for items over 20 lbs. so my shipping prices are calculated according to getting it to the east coast. If I can ship it cheaper, I will either issue a partial refund on shipping or you can make an offer and we can work out the details from there.
I do work so I ship on the weekend(s) prior to the sale.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
