A beautiful example of classically inspired Warlock; 3-piece maple neck-through with a very comfortable neck. Mahogany wings that have a really nice grain to it that almost makes it look figured, almost, that doesn’t show through in the pictures really at all. Quadramatic bridge that gives you tone for days, and high-output pickups for great tone with a coil-split push/pull on the tone pot.

Condition wise i’ll list it as “excellent” – I really wish there was another category between “very good” and “excellent” as some guitars are definitely better than “very good” but don’t quite meet the “excellent” level – I’ve seen real trainwrecks here on Reverb listed as excellent/mint, so I’m listing this as excellent. There’s a bit of a scuff on the top right of the headstock, and also a very shallow scratch that I did not even see until I raised the camera exposure to see the walnut vaneer on the headstock (walnut vaneer looks like Ebony without over exposing the camera – i’ts practically black) and that picture makes it look like it’s a wayyyyy bigger deal than it is. They’re things that unless I mention them you may not notice them.

there is also the odd, and extremely shallow dimple in the finish; so shallow they don’t create any finish cracking/damage and are only noticeable if the light hits the guitar at the right angle and you catch it out of the corner of your eye.

General maintenance done in the last 6months: Polished/cleaned the frets and fretboard, and oiled the fretboard with linseed oil. a fresh set of basic D’addario 11’s were installed and tuned to D-Standard at that time.

Plays and sounds fantastic, and balances well. Love the guitar. Definitely one I like to reach for, and don’t want to let go. Such is the way of life for us guitarists. Can’t hoard’em all, I guess.
