1974 B.C. Rich Seagull

This is one of the earliest BC Rich electric guitars, the 24th one made in the first year of production according to the serial number. It has the tell-tale features of the very earliest Seagulls – recessed backplates, factory original Gibson T-Top pickups, Leo Quad badass bridge, original Neal Moser electronics circuit, and Grover tuners. Everything is original except for the battery harness(which had started to disintegrate, original IS included however) and the jackplate(was falling apart as well, I had a new one made to vintage spec by Moser earlier this year). All of the plastics including the pick guard were handmade in 1974 by Neal Moser, he even personally modified the Gibson pickups to be four conductor so they could work with his electronics circuit. The neck is straight, trussrod functions as it should, it plays great with low action and lots of sustain. There is an extra hole for a strap button that a previous owner added, see photos. Otherwise it’s a very clean example of handmade BCR history. Original flight case is included. Message me with any questions.
