B.C. Rich NJ Series Deluxe Jr. V. Not sure what is Junior about this guitar! The neck is awesome – beautiful dark ebony, barely any fretwear on it, and headstock breaks or repairs.
It does look like their was a decent break in the lower wing – you can see the repair inside the electronics cavity. That explains the sloppy spray can job that has been done on that part of the guitar. It’s not bad, actually – It looks like a well worn satin finish. I am not good at painting or sanding and buffing, but I do know this could be made to look much better. As for the repair – solid. Not at all concerned about it.
Aside from all that, the EMG 81/85 set that these came with has been replaced with the EMG 89/81TWX Set – which is a signifigant upgrade! I put on Ernie Ball Power Slinky 11’s, and tuned to D standard tuning (with D drop to C), and set the Floyd up for that. What a heavy, heavy sound!
