Early 2000s B.C. Rich Mockingbird Supreme 1000 JE-ML Caliber Grade — Completely Refurbished and Upgraded top to bottom
I purchased this guitar in 2016 and wanted to unlock its potential. No expense was spared. The BC Rich Caliber line was the original “Made in Japan” model. The Caliber line was positioned between the very expensive US Made Custom Shop line and the mass produced Korean made NJ (Nagoya Japan) series. The original came with chrome hardware. This guitar has been completely refurbished and upgraded with Custom Seymour-Duncan Slash Alnico pick-ups with matching gold bobbins. These pick-ups alone were $250.00 apiece. Upgraded with new Grover tuners with Imperial tuning keys. All the switches, electronics and knobs are now upgraded to gold, and a new Quadro-matic Bridge was installed. All of the dings, scratches and dents have all been professionally filled and polished up. The guitars finish is now completely smooth to the touch, including the filled strap lock hole pictured. All plastic body covers were re-cut and replaced. After which, the frets were dressed, polished and leveled. The new bridge professionally set up for .009 strings. The action is low and fast. The neck plays smooth, even and flat throughout the neck. The intonation is perfect. (Did I mention this thing sounds amazing?) There is a small scratch above the jack plate we could not get visibly completely out (pictured)

Controls include three-way toggle pick up selector with brass switch knob, volume, tone, mid boost on/off with an on board 9 volt battery pre-amp, and single coil tap switches for each pick-up, allowing for a variety of sound creation.
