Ventura V-200B 1970s Blonde

$ 1099.00

Beautiful 1970s Ventura V-200B in blonde. In the vein of a Gibson J-200 Jumbo. A superb sounding instrument. Very easy to play. Low action. Straight neck with a working truss rod. Spruce top. Flamed maple back and sides. Very dark luscious rosewood fretboard. I believe the nut and saddle are both original and made of bone. Elixir Phosphor Bronze Custom Light strings. Adjustable bridge. Beautiful patina. Elegantly embossed pickguard. Frets are a bit worn but still plays very easily. There is some wear in the rosewood fretboard near the nut. The crown inlays are raised slightly but not bothersome. The tuners have been replaced with reliable Gold Kluson style tuners. Small piece of binding is missing on the right side of the headstock. Very slight belly behind the bridge. Not very noticeable and hard to even picture, but it’s worth noting. The top strap button has been moved inward slightly to allow a more comfortable posture while playing standing up. Missing one truss rod cover screw. There are a few minor scratches, swirls, etc, but nothing that would affect playability. Want a vintage Gibson J-200, but don’t want to pay an insane amount? Well here is your chance.

I made a short video demo so you can see how it sounds for yourself. Just using my phone mic, but still sound incredible. Check it out.
